A leading consulting firm seeks a Senior Consultant with expertise in project management and business development. The role involves managing client relationships, leading projects, and mentoring team members while maintaining a focus on growth strategies across various industries. Candidates should have a degree and relevant consulting experience, with a preference for fluency in Japanese for communication with clients.
Senior Consultant whose main focus is managing projects effectively under the cooperative relationship among clients and other partners and internal project members. As a Senior Consultant, the incumbent is expected to possess deep knowledge on several industries, capability to design and execute projects and human skills to establish relationship among stakeholders of various kinds of projects. At the same time, the Senior Consultant is expected to exercise business development activities through client targeting, approaching potential clients, proposal-making to forming projects, and to a successful closure.
Business Development:
· Assesses potential clients in specific target sectors including energy sectors, real estates, food and agriculture, healthcare, manufacturer, retail and wholesalers, private equity, investment banks, etc.
· Develops plan to create network with those potential clients.
· Develops discussion materials as well as leadership articles in relation to NRI consultants to make use of NRI's track record as well as industry expertise.
· Maintains relationships with potential clients.
· Works with senior management team in NRI Singapore
Project Delivery:
· Faces clients for project issues / challenges.
· Manages project budget.
· Assists research/consultation activities if necessary.
· Provides on-the-job training to consultants and analysts.
· Reviews results and discusses with project member (s) upon completion of the projects.
People Management:
· Engages with consultant members.
· Performs on the job training on basic consulting skills including creation of slides, logical thinking, story development for presentation, basis quantitative and qualitative skills where necessary.
· Mentors consultants and Business Analyst
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university.
· Advanced degree such as master’s degree (M.A./M.S./MBA) may help project execution/management.
· 3 - 5 years of consulting project experiences in research & strategy consulting arena.
· Experiences in business growth strategy project themes will be highly advantageous.
· Experiences of project managing in guiding through senior/junior level of consultants will be highly advantageous.
· Establishing continuous relationships with key clients and obtaining repeated several projects from key clients.
· Industrial expertise (deep knowledge of specific industry) will be an added advantage.
· Candidate must be willing to travel for business trips as required that may occur periodically.
· Possess a good command of the Japanese language to liaise with Japanese-speaking counterparts internally and externally.
