Job summary

Wood-5 Deco in Singapore is seeking a capable project assistant to support the operation manager in planning and scheduling construction projects, allocating resources to meet timelines, and coordinating with clients to clarify requirements.

You will supervise a team, inspect hoarding installations, monitor progress, mitigate risks, obtain permits, maintain documentation, and drive process improvements while upholding health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Min NITEC/Diploma/Degree in engineering related fields.
• At least 2 year of work experience in the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist operation manager in managing project plans and schedules, ensuring effective allocation of resources for timely project execution.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
• Oversee the installation and removal of hoardings, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage a team of workers, providing guidance and supervision to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular inspections of hoardings to ensure proper maintenance and repair, addressing any issues promptly.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with building managements and obtain necessary permits and approvals for hoarding installations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation,including contracts, permits, and variation orders.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for employees and subcontractors.
• Any other duties as assigned.
