Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify and establish an extensive vendor network that is able to support repair activities for existing and potential Inventory Technical Management (ITM) customers.

  2. Assist in the evaluation and negotiation with vendors for fixed preferential repair rates and terms.

  3. Coordinate between relevant internal/external stakeholders to review vendor performance.

  4. Assess and identify high cost of repair / high volume repair parts with potential for cost savings through sourcing for alternate repair support programs.

  5. Tracking of existing agreements and following up on contract re-negotiations / extensions

  6. Managing day-to-day operations and managing a team to fulfil aircraft component requests.

  7. Lead a team to manage the repair cycle of aircraft components.

  8. Seek out partners and network within the industry to effectively manage and grow the repair supplier network.

  9. Communicating with customers and maintaining a high level of satisfaction.

  10. Preparation or assisting in the preparation of commercial offers for component services.

  11. Analyzing component removal trends to make informed recommendations.

  12. Calculating and recommending the optimum float level to support our customers.

  13. Work together with the Company’s divisions in new product development.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
2. Prior working experience within the aviation industry is advantageous but not necessary.
3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to integrate multiple ideas and information from across various fields.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to establish team effectiveness and manage partnerships to create a cooperative working environment which enables the achievement of goals.
6. Willingness to travel internationally.
7. Flexible, curious and creative, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
8. Experience with IT/SAP and Process enhancement skills is an advantage
