Our client is an established financial services firm seeking an experienced Compliance Officer. Reporting to the Deputy MD, the successful candidate will be the key person responsible for all compliance and data protection matters, including the roles of DPO and AML Officer. He / she will develop, manage, and update compliance policies and procedures aligned with local regulations and company requirements. This includes AMLA, CTFA, anti-bribery laws, foreign corrupt practices, sanctions regulations, PDPA, etc.

He / She will also ensure timely and accurate filings of regulatory returns with local regulators. Experience in conducting gap analysis and implementing necessary processes is desirable. Engaging with external auditors, tax, and legal counsel on business matters will also be advantageous.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good university degree in finance, accounting, or law, with at least 5 years of compliance experience in similar or related industries, and a strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory environment. You should also enjoy a specialist, individual contributor role and thrive in an autonomous and independent environment.
