Job summary

The Edge Partnership client, a well-established global commodities trading company with a strong presence in Asia, seeks an experienced Senior Market Risk Analyst to join their team in Singapore. You will collaborate with energy traders, operations, trade support, accounting and back office.

Responsibilities include daily P&L and exposure reporting, validating P&L attribution, MTM oversight of physical deals, forward curves modelling, and developing risk reports to inform trading desks and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in market risk with commodity trading.
• Knowledge of derivatives and physical trading; oil & gas focus.
• Proficient in Excel, VBA, Power BI, Python/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Produce and report daily P&L, positions, and exposures.
• Validate positions and P&L; ensure accurate attribution.
• Run daily pricing exposure reconciliation with trading/ops.
• Construct/check in-house forward curves; validate against market values.
• Monitor MTM of physical deals in trading systems.
• Analyze MTM valuations, risk positions, curves, volatilities, P&L daily.
• Develop risk reporting to communicate positions, P&L, market risk.
• Review trading system information reliability and cost reasonableness.
