Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a wafer process engineer to develop and optimize process formulations and controls that meet stringent quality standards.

You will create and review technical charts, establish SOPs and FMEAs, and ensure compatibility of product development with processing methods while evaluating costs and schedules. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and reliable manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree is required from the list in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Microelectronics engineering.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems in semiconductor processes.
• 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.
• Create, analyze and review technical charts.
• Establish SOP (Standard operating process) and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related process.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
• Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications.
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance indices.
• Work with cross functions teams to deliver organizational goals.
