Job summary

Soitec Microelectronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned engineer to troubleshoot process deviations and equipment issues, improving quality, yield and productivity.

You will analyze data, perform tests, and collaborate globally on technology transfer and supplier qualification. The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong teamwork, meticulous work ethic, and experience with cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience in CMP or DSP Polishing.
• Good team player with truthful, logical and responsible attitude.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, disciplined and able to support cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process deviation and equipment malfunctions to improve process quality, yield and productivity.
• Characterization of process and product by data analysis and tests.
• Collaborate with Technology counterparts globally on technology transfer, process alignment and qualification of new suppliers and consumables.
• Work with cross-functional team on process capability improvement and yield enhancement projects.
• Follow up with Night-shift items and provide guidance during night shift.
• Create and execute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Apply problem solving methods (8D, Fishbone, DOE) and risk analysis (FMEA).
• Knowledge of process control (SPC) and Design of Experiment (DOE) will be an added advantage.
• Maintain good documentation in compliance with quality standard TS16949.

• Data analysis skills (EXCEL, JMP)


• Collaborate with Technology counterparts globally on technology transfer, process alignment, qualification of new suppliers and consumables


• Work with cross-functional team on process capability improvement and yield enhancement projects


• To follow up with Night-shift items


• Provide guidance and troubleshooting using problem solving methods during night shift


• Create and execute ideas for continuous improvement


• Apply problem solving methods (8D, Fishbone, DOE etc.) and risk analysis (like FMEA)


• Knowledge of process control (SPC) and Design of Experiment (DOE) will be and added advantage

• Any other ad-hoc projects assigned
