Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Solutions Architect for FSI Digital Natives in Singapore to collaborate with customers, partners and AWS teams to craft architectures and proofs of concept that align with business outcomes and accelerate cloud adoption.

With strong Mandarin and cloud experience, you will drive technical discussions, define engagement strategy and mentor teams across AWS services, helping customers migrate and optimize in the cloud.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients/business partners/stakeholders/customers who predominantly communicate in Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes
• Drive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical business problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
• Scope and own each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well- defined objectives and success criteria
• Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Customer Solution Managers and consulting/managed services partners)
• Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops
