Job summary

SHIELD is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our cloud-based services and architecture powering SHIELD AI-based fraud detection. You will design secure automation, scale systems and ensure high availability, collaborating with a cross-functional team to stop fraud.

This role requires 5+ years' experience, deep AWS knowledge, Kubernetes, Linux, and hands-on CI/CD expertise with Ansible/Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive AWS experience with managed services (EC2, ECS, ECR, RDS, EKS, etc.).
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible/Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring/logging/tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design secure automation for development, testing, production.
• Configure, maintain the infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain solutions for day-to-day operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
• Create, maintain, and iterate on our CI/CD processes for new and existing services.
• Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Require periodic after-hours/weekend support.
• Troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to implement corrective actions.
