LeapThought is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Security Architect with extensive expertise in government cloud platforms (GCC 1.0/2.0, GCC+) and enterprise security frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead complex technical architecture designs for public sector clients, focusing on secure hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, compliance requirements, security protocols, and hands-on experience with implementation and migration projects for government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect secure, compliant cloud solutions tailored for government agencies, including landing zones, shared service platforms, and security frameworks.
- Lead technical architecture decisions for migration and modernization initiatives across hybrid environments (on-premise, GCC 1.0/2.0, commercial cloud).
- Provide expert guidance on cloud security, compliance frameworks (CAM, ABLR), and integration with GovTech common services.
- Architect and implement secure integration solutions (Apex Cloud, CFT, AMR) and cybersecurity components (EPP, PAM, GCSOC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex technical solutions within strict timelines and compliance requirements.
- Develop strategies for hybrid AI cloud platforms supporting secure, scalable AI workloads across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions for dedicated/isolated cloud region deployments to meet agency-specific data residency requirements.
- Participate in enterprise architect boards, providing architectural guidance on inter-agency integration and secure interoperability.
- Lead the implementation of data migration and integration strategies using tools like Azure DataBox and AWS Snowball.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices in cloud architecture and security.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 7 years in cloud architecture and security.
- Extensive experience with GCC 1.0/2.0 environments, including design and implementation of secure landing zones.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale migration projects for government agencies.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms, particularly in government contexts.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements for Singapore government systems.
- Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and on-premise virtualization solutions.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and practices, including Ship-Hats.
- Familiarity with identity integration solutions (WOG AAD, Singpass/Corppass).
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

- AWS Solution Architect – Associate/Professional.
- Azure Data Engineer - Associate.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP).
Additional Skills
- Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Google Vertex AI or AWS SageMaker.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with data platforms like Snowflake.
- Understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience with API management platforms (Apigee, Kong).
