Role and Responsibilities

1. Design and implement security architectures for cloud-based systems.
2. Build security control frameworks and reference architectures for cloud applications.
3. Identify security requirements for cloud applications and perform risk assessments and threat modelling.
4. Ensure security controls align with organizational principles and industry frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and CSA.
5. Develop configuration hardening guidelines for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
6. Provide expertise on encryption, key management, IAM, and network security.
7. Communicate security status and issues effectively to stakeholders.
8. Continuously evaluate and improve cloud security architectures.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or security architecture.
2. 2+ years of experience in Information/Cloud Security.
3. In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security risks and controls.
4. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps.
5. Proven experience in delivering end-to-end security solutions and threat modelling.
6. Knowledge of security standards and regulations.
7. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
8. Professional security certification (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, etc.) preferred.
