Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Production Engineer to take hands-on ownership of critical tooling that drives reliability and delivery success. You will design, implement, deploy, and operate systems across the cloud stack to boost availability and velocity.

You will work with service owners to strengthen operational foundations, build durable engineering investments, and ship production code in Python or Go.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Strong debugging across services, infra, and automation.
• Proficient in Python or Go and shipping production services.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native tech and Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability stacks and incident lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Take hands-on ownership of critical systems and frameworks, driving their architecture and long-term evolution.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects that improve availability, scalability, and automation.
• Build and maintain observability, alerting, automated remediation, and resilience testing.
• Participate in incident response; drive root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Improve runbooks, deployment workflows, and operational tooling to harden production readiness.
• Eliminate single points of failure and reduce toil through automation and refactors.
• Ship production code regularly in Python, Go, or similar languages, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain and mature long-term projects owned by the team to remain reliable.
