Job summary

SPH Media in Singapore is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure powering our services. You will specialize in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation, ensuring secure, cost-efficient, and highly available cloud environments.

You will lead CI/CD workflows, manage AWS infrastructure, and apply Kubernetes/Helm for portability across environments. A strong 5+ year background in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, and Python.
• AWS expertise with scalable infrastructure patterns.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) with platform stability.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using Jira Service Management for incidents and post‑mortems.
• Total 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code: Architect and manage cloud environments using Terraform and Python for repeatable deployments.
• Workload Portability: Use Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm for a stable, portable application platform across environments.
• CI/CD Leadership: Oversee automated workflows via GitHub for high-velocity engineering.
• Operational Excellence: Manage AWS infrastructure and align with architectural standards.
• Security & FinOps: Implement Security by Design and optimize cloud spend.
• Availability & Reliability: Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high uptime.
