Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Level 2 Cloud Engineer to support Windows and Linux workloads on AWS in a regulated enterprise environment. You will manage OS health, patching, and core services while collaborating with cloud, network, and security teams.

Responsibilities include incident handling, EC2/EBS/S3 support, and implementing secure connectivity, load balancing, and API exposure via API Gateway. Strong scripting and AWS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on OS support experience across Windows and Linux.
• 2+ years supporting workloads on AWS.
• Experience operating in enterprise or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux distributions (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu).
• Perform OS-level troubleshooting, service restarts, performance checks, and log analysis.
• Support core platform services: AD, DNS, GPO, WSUS (Windows) and systemd, cron, filesystem, package management (yum/apt) (Linux).
• Handle incidents, problems, and service requests via ITSM tools.
• Assist with AWS Cloud Operations: EC2, EBS, S3, IAM roles, SSM, CloudWatch.
• Design and support load balancing and routing using NLB/ALB, API Gateway, and proxy solutions (NGINX).
• Ensure secure ingress/egress architecture with WAF, SSL/TLS termination, and access controls.
• Perform OS patch management (WSUS/SCCM/SSM for Windows; yum/apt/SSM for Linux).
• Create and maintain Runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
