Job description

Cloud Infrastructure Development:

  • Build and maintain a robust cloud environment to support business needs.
  • Oversee virtual networks, computing resources, and storage systems to ensure seamless performance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance system resilience, including disaster recovery planning and regular testing.

Strategic Cloud Roadmap:

  • Partner with stakeholders to design cloud adoption strategies that align with long-term goals.
  • Evaluate business needs to identify suitable cloud solutions and create actionable implementation plans.

Performance and Monitoring:

  • Ensure operational excellence by setting up monitoring tools to track system health and performance.
  • Proactively address performance bottlenecks to minimize disruptions.

Cost Efficiency:

  • Optimize cloud resource usage to control expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Analyze expenditures, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement budget-friendly solutions.

Team Enablement and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams across regions to deliver solutions that drive success.
  • Coach and mentor team members, enabling their professional growth and encouraging knowledge sharing.

Security and Compliance Oversight:

  • Enforce strong cloud security frameworks and implement measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Cloud Migration and Integration:

  • Spearhead migration projects, including transitioning from on-premises to cloud systems and inter-cloud migrations.
  • Develop migration plans that prioritize business continuity and efficient implementation.

Email and Directory Administration:

  • Manage corporate email infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure communication.
  • Administer directory services, such as user access controls and hybrid Active Directory environments, ensuring secure authentication protocols.

Issue Resolution:

  • Handle complex technical challenges efficiently and ensure quick resolution of escalated incidents.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.

Vendor and Partner Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery.

Continuous Innovation:

  • Stay current with evolving technologies and trends to enhance cloud capabilities.
  • Introduce new tools and methodologies to drive innovation and system optimization.

Special Assignments:

  • Take ownership of additional projects or responsibilities assigned by leadership, offering specialized expertise and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based Active Directory (Azure AD) and identity protection solutions.
  • Proficiency in email protection solutions and technologies, including email encryption, spam filters, and anti-phishing measures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.
