Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect in Singapore to design scalable, secure infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments.

You will maintain architecture standards, lead capacity planning, and guide stakeholders with a focus on zero-trust security, IAM, and secrets management.

Candidates should have 5+ years, including 2+ years on large Singapore Government projects, and a strong Linux/Kubernetes background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in large-scale Singapore Government projects.
• Expertise in infrastructure technologies, enterprise Linux, cloud-native stacks, and Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security frameworks, cryptography, and IT risk management.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
• CISSP certification or cybersecurity experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure infrastructure for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Maintain architecture standards and produce detailed technical documentation and diagrams.
• Lead capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage third-party vendors and oversee procurement and integration processes.
• Facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders and provide expert guidance on issues.
• Analyse change requests and implement architectural adjustments.
• Implement zero-trust security frameworks, including network segmentation, IAM, and secrets management.
