Job summary

SYSVALENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience to develop and manage cloud infrastructure solutions. The role requires deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and strong security practices around IaC and containers.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing multi/hybrid cloud architectures, leading teams, and delivering scalable, secure enterprise infrastructure with thorough documentation and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in a technical role in the industry or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deep technical expertise on cloud services and products.
• Proficient in security concepts related to infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerisation.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as Security Information and Events Management, Data Loss Prevention, Database Activity Monitoring, Data Security and Protection, Privileged Access Management, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention
• Experience in cloud-based deployment and management in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.
• Advanced scripting / coding skills for IaC (Terraform / Ansible) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud infrastructure solutions including multi/hybrid cloud design and implementation.
• Manage teams in implementing cloud-native frameworks for enterprise infrastructure.
• Develop and implement best-in-class processes, metrics and practices.
• Design, operations, and support of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure including Security.
• Perform daily performance monitoring, analysis and maintenance.
• Ensure proposed cloud architectures are scalable, maintainable, performant, secure and compliant with client standards.
• Provide needed technical and operation documentation.
