Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and DevSecOps to improve efficiency, security, and resilience.

You will collaborate with development teams to build secure cloud solutions, implement CI/CD with security controls, and document architectures and best practices for ongoing operations. Strong scripting skills and cloud security expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.
• Documentation of architecture, standards, and patterns.
• Strong communication, collaboration and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to meet application and security needs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with security measures following DevSecOps principles.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents.
• Regularly assess cloud architectures for optimization and improvement.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance for cloud-related queries.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevSecOps.
