Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & DevOps in Singapore to design, develop, automate, and support scalable cloud platforms within a banking context.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage AWS-based infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes, and implement secure, observable systems using modern tooling. This role demands collaboration with security, architecture, and software teams to ensure high availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud platforms on AWS.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins/GitLab.
• Kubernetes/EKS administration and deployments.
• Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Security controls and IAM/KMS in cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-based applications and platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS and Terraform.
• Operate Kubernetes/EKS environments for enterprise apps.
• Implement REST APIs and integrate middleware.
• Automate deployment and provisioning with Python/shell scripts.
• Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
• Enforce cloud security controls IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub.
• Troubleshoot incidents and improve reliability.
• Support HA, DR, resiliency initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow standards.
