Job summary

BJIOS Orthopaedics is seeking a Clinic Assistant/Patient Service Associate to enhance patient care coordination across healthcare providers. Candidates should possess GCE O Level or higher, with prior healthcare experience preferred.

5.5 Days (Office Hours)

Clinic Assistant / Patient Service Associate / Clinic Executive

BJIOS Orthopaedics is looking for an individual who is able to aid in the coordinating of care across multiple healthcare providers and settings. This role enhances the overall patient experience and the quality of care.

Core Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage reception area, answering calls & handling inquires
  • Scheduling appointments for Patients
  • Registering and processing payments of patients
  • Verify patients with Third-party administrators (TPA), Insurance and Medisave claims processing
  • Facilitate Hospital Admission
  • Perform stock-taking of medical supplies and ensure accuracy
  • Assist Nurses and Doctors in administrative and clinical support
  • Financial counselling, and coordinating of patient surgeries
  • Providing and educating patients and family members on health grants and medical assistance information

Requirements

  • Minimum (GCE) O Level or above
  • 2-3 years experience in Healthcare/ Specialist Clinic setting is preferred
  • Experience in TPA Insurance Claims is preferred
  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in medical billing software and tech-savvy
  • Service Oriented and patient focused
  • Possess organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage coordinate schedules
  • Has good time management and follow up skills
  • Service Oriented and patient focused
  • Able to communicate with Mandarin speaking patient will be an advantage
  • Availability to start on short notice is preferred
