Job description

Responsibilities

  • Client onboarding and ongoing KYC: to work closely with customer, onboarding team and compliance team to ensure smooth onboarding / KYC / CDD / AML in time

  • Client servicing: to ensure day-to-day customer queries are handled in a timely manner.

  • Support the relationship managers in assessing the viability of the new transaction, in ensuring timely submission of account opening, credit proposals, deal presentation slides and manage the credit process and turnaround time.

  • Ongoing account monitoring and customer relationship managing

  • Ensure timely submission of periodically account reviews and loan reviews, conduct post-lending monitoring of approved conditions/covenants.

  • To raise waivers arising from deviations from bank policies and approved conditions/covenants.

  • Develop and manage customer portfolios as well as conduct regular credit reviews to maintain healthy loan portfolios

  • Visit customers periodically with RM to update the latest situations of customers and develop new business

  • Implement transaction monitoring, ask customer provide transaction information or supporting documents.

  • Regulatory: to ensure regulatory checklists are completed and maintained in accordance with bank policies and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accountancy/Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in serving high net-worth clients/Corporate clients

  • Knowledge of private banking and treasury services, good understanding of banking operations and policies

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with good organization skills

  • Excellent communication skills with strong customer-focused mindset

  • Certified in CACS Paper 1 and 2
