About the role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Structured Product Sales professional to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in structuring and distributing complex investment solutions to private banking, family offices and/or asset management clients in Asia. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong market insights, exceptional product knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth by leveraging on existing relationships to expand Leonteq’s client base.

What you'll do
- Proactively develop and maintain client relationships across private banks, asset managers and multi-family offices, supporting the onboarding processes.
- Originate, structure, and distribute tailored structured products across asset classes including equities, interest rates, FX, credit, and hybrids.
- Take full ownership of the sales process, from origination to pricing, trade execution and trade booking for various derivative products, in coordination with Structuring & Trading. This includes post-trade client servicing, maintenance of structured products in the booking systems and risk reporting.
- Lead client meetings, product presentations, roadshows, and investment seminars to promote structured solutions.
- Collaborate closely with structuring, trading, legal, and compliance teams to structure bespoke investment ideas or replicate new or complex payoffs and ensuring smooth execution.
- Monitor client portfolios and market conditions to identify new cross-selling and hedging opportunities.
- Stay informed of global market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform client strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members and support staff to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in structured product sales within a global investment bank or a leading private bank.
- Proven client base and revenue track record.
- Excellent presentation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Deep Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of structured products and derivatives across multiple asset classes (autocallables, credit-linked notes, barrier options, quanto structures, hybrids, etc.) with a solid grasp of derivatives Greeks and payoff dynamics.
- Risk & Pricing Tools: Experience with pricing and risk platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Numerix, internal pricers).
- Strategic Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build long-term trust with clients and internal stakeholders, with ability to influence client investment decisions and negotiate terms internally and externally.
- Multilingual Advantage: Fluency in English required. Mandarin or another Asian language is a strong advantage, due to client coverage responsibilities.
