Job description

You will assist the Superintending officer in managing building construction projects and subsequent maintenance of the buildings in Tuas. There will be opportunity to experience the full building life cycle from design, planning, construction to maintenance.

Major responsibilities include:

  • supervise construction works, especially architectural works and M&E installation
  • monitor construction progress against planned progress
  • conduct regular site safety inspections
  • assist in QA/QC
  • ensure construction methods are in accordance with approved Method Statements
  • liaise with RE/RTO on inspection of structural works.
  • coordinate with various stakeholders on facilities requirement to ensure operationality, functionality and ease of maintenance

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Facilities Maintenance or Building Services
  • At least 5 years of either project management experience in the construction industry or facilities maintenance experience in commercial/industrial buildings
  • Experience in construction of building projects with architectural finishes and M&E installation work is preferred
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modelling will be an advantage
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Work & Excel
