Job summary

BINNIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Resident Engineer to lead the site supervision team for Civil and Structural and Building Construction works, notably at water infrastructure facilities.

You will support the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on site inspections, contract matters and defect rectification supervision, while coordinating with design teams and HQ. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to all Contractor's RFI's and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
• Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.
