An established industry player is seeking experienced M&E Engineers and Project Managers to lead critical projects across Singapore and Malaysia. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. This role involves coordinating with clients and subcontractors, preparing essential documentation, and ensuring compliance with project standards. To liaise with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors on the progress of M&E works.
To prepare method statements, shop drawings, sample units, T&C sheets, work progress reports, and other relevant documents for M&E related works.
Equipment design including Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling towers, Chillers, Sequence of Operations, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression systems.
To coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants on the preparation and submission of shop drawings and material/samples.
To coordinate, prepare, and check the technical submissions for resolving site issues and drawing issues.
Develop and maintain all site mechanical procedures including EOPs, SOPs, MOPs, and APs, ensuring consistency with current client standards.
Assist the Technical Manager with all M&E issues, including the preparation of M&E master and T&C schedules.
Manage and arrange M&E progress inspections (R1, Fire Audit, etc.), documentation for audits, resource utilization, and coordination works from start to finish.
Responsible for all project management activities, including detailed reviews and analysis of project or contract documents to understand all requirements.
Report to the Executive Director and oversee HOD/Project Managers, ensuring timely completion of work and proper task allocation based on urgency and client needs.
Provide strong leadership to manage risks and ensure each project phase is initiated and completed on schedule.
Assess and analyze operational and financial risks to meet project budgets.
Design and execute construction strategies for project completion, including subcontractor/supplier selection and quotation analysis.
Authorize construction planning, scheduling, and subcontractor engagement, including managing variations.
Monitor progress, quality, and techniques, and report on project performance and costs.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance.
Implement and improve working methods and standards.
Location: Opportunities across Singapore and Malaysia, suitable for Singaporean candidates or those with experience in these regions.
