Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Construction Plans:
- Formulate detailed construction plans, including schedules, methodologies, and temporary facilities.
- Ensure plans align with project scope and local regulations.
- Lead and Manage Project Teams:
- Provide leadership and oversight to project teams.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with project goals.
- Monitor Project Progress and Performance:
- Track project milestones and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
- Conduct Risk Analysis and Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed to safeguard project personnel and assets.
- Prepare Competitive Tender Submissions:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and insights for effective tender proposals.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 30 years of working experience in the Construction industry.
- At least 20 years of experience in managing marine civil engineering works, especially involvement in infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in the construction of:
- Soil improvement work by the Cement Deep Mixing method more than 500,000m3
- Soil improvement work by the Cement Pipe Mixing method more than 1,000,000m3
- Dredging Work depth deeper than -14m and volume more than 1,000,000m3
- Land Reclamation work more than 500,000m3
- New container berth more than 400m.
- Road and Drainage work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong leadership skills in managing team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning/management software.
- Familiarity with local regulations, standards, and bidding processes.
- Experiences in JV projects with foreign companies (e.g. Japanese, Korean, South East Asian, and/or European construction companies) as a management staff
