Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Construction Plans:
• Formulate detailed construction plans, including schedules, methodologies, and temporary facilities.
• Ensure plans align with project scope and local regulations.
• Lead and Manage Project Teams:
• Provide leadership and oversight to project teams.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with project goals.
• Monitor Project Progress and Performance:
• Track project milestones and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
• Conduct Risk Analysis and Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed to safeguard project personnel and assets.
• Prepare Competitive Tender Submissions:
• Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and insights for effective tender proposals.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 30 years of working experience in the Construction industry.
• At least 20 years of experience in managing marine civil engineering works, especially involvement in infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in the construction of:
• Soil improvement work by the Cement Deep Mixing method more than 500,000m3
• Soil improvement work by the Cement Pipe Mixing method more than 1,000,000m3
• Dredging Work depth deeper than -14m and volume more than 1,000,000m3
• Land Reclamation work more than 500,000m3
• New container berth more than 400m.
• Road and Drainage work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong leadership skills in managing team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning/management software.
• Familiarity with local regulations, standards, and bidding processes.
• Experiences in JV projects with foreign companies (e.g. Japanese, Korean, South East Asian, and/or European construction companies) as a management staff
