Job summary

My Masterclass in Singapore is seeking a senior Chemistry tutor to lead engaging lessons aligned to the G3 and IP Chemistry syllabus. You will work with the owner to deliver our proven content mastery and build student confidence through structured teaching and regular progress updates.

In the coming years you will mentor junior tutors, help develop new lesson materials, and may take on leadership responsibilities including managing a branch.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years teaching in tuition centers or private settings.
• Familiar with G3 and IP Chemistry syllabus.
• Able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work with the owner to be fully trained on house content mastery & lesson delivery pedagogy.
• Conduct engaging and effective lessons aligned to IP and G3 Chemistry syllabus.
• Provide timely feedback and academic progress updates to students and parents.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and rapport with students.
• Independent class management in Years 2–6; contribute to developing new materials and digital resources.
• Mentor and train junior tutors; participate in marketing, community outreach and content initiatives.
• Take on leadership opportunities including managing your own branch under My Masterclass.

The Opportunity

We are inviting a Senior Chemistry Tutor to join our dynamic team. This is a role for an educator who has:

• 3-5 years of experience teaching in tuition centers or private settings

• Deep familiarity with the G3 and IP Chemistry syllabus

• A passion for inspiring students and helping them build mastery and confidence

• A willingness to teach and improve on My Masterclass’ structured curriculum and materials

Responsibilities

In Your First Year:

• Work together with the owner, to be full trained on our proven house content mastery & lesson delivery pedagogy

As You Grow With Us (Years 2-6):

• Independent class management inline with My Masterclass's SOW demands

• Contribute to developing new lesson materials and digital resources

• Mentor and train junior tutors

• Participate in marketing, community outreach, and content initiatives

• Take on leadership opportunities — including managing your own branch under My Masterclass

What We Offer

• Monthly Base Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 (Gross monthly base including off peak periods of October to December)
• Up to 3 months performance bonus for high performing tutor, annual package of $78,000 - 90,000+ inclusive of employer cpf.

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience teaching Chemistry (IP/O Level) in tuition or private settings

• Five working days withboth weekendscommitment for the first year

• Excellent subject mastery and ability to explain complex concepts clearly

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine care for student success

• Teaching at H2 level or G3 Physics or Biology is a plus

• Aligned with My Masterclass’ teaching philosophy and standards of excellence
