Job summary
ARGUS MEDIA SINGAPORE GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a driven market analyst/reporter to cover chemicals markets from its Singapore base.
You will write engaging market intelligence, source exclusive content, and lead coverage within the assigned product portfolio. You will build a strong network of industry contacts, attend conferences, webinars and industry events, and collaborate with teammates across Argus offices worldwide.
Qualifications
- An articulate graduate with a strong degree.
- Ability to develop, verify and write industry-relevant news/content to deadline.
- Prior experience in financial or commodities journalism is beneficial but optional.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for commodities, energy markets, global business, politics and economics.
- Experience delivering breaking news, insightful market reports and in-depth analytical articles is a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite with experience in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to network and build contacts with industry executives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess fast-moving markets to produce price assessments, intelligence, market commentaries, news, analysis, and reports.
