Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a multinational company on Jurong Island, Singapore.

The role focuses on operation and maintenance of process equipment, checks, start-up/shutdown, filters, and handling of chemicals under supervisor guidance. The position requires a Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process or related engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance
• Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors
• Carry out filter changes
• Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
• Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors
• Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
• Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products
• Preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
• Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures
• Performing emergency response activities and drills
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Education

Nitec / Diploma in Chemical Process / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
