Job description

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided from Jurong East)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor process equipment via DCS

• Conduct startup/shutdown operations for pumps, compressors, and other systems

• Perform basic maintenance (e.g., filter changes, hose connections)

• Adjust and optimize process parameters under supervision

• Support troubleshooting and emergency shutdowns

• Conduct in-process sample testing and review DCS trends

• Lead on-the-job training for junior technicians

• Act as acting supervisor when needed

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process plant operations

• ITE / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field

• Experience in operating Yokogawa and/or DeltaV DCS systems

• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental practices

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts
