About the position:

The Assistant Supervisor, Operations will be responsible for overseeing the inbound and outbound teams. He/She will report to the Warehouse Manager. This role involves end-to-end activities such as inbound receiving, returns, dispatch, labeling, picking, auditing, and delivery processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily duties of employees to ensure quality standards are met and proper procedures are followed.
  • Provide guidance to employees in handling errors, problems, complaints, and disputes.
  • Manage cycle counting program according to SLA.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and communicate causes to the operation.
  • Investigate internal excess and short picks and communicate causes to the operation.
  • Report any stock adjustments, including reasons for these adjustments.
  • Ensure KPIs are met and reports are promptly submitted to Supervisor/Manager.
  • Interpret and explain work procedures and policies to staff.
  • Prepare and manage reports, manuals, and other documents using WMS or SAP.
  • Maintain orderly records in compliance with company regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures; undertake disciplinary actions if necessary.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager to support operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum O Level/ Diploma or relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of supervisory principles and practices.
  • Excellent computer, analytical, presentation, and people skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to delegate work.
  • Ability to manage and maintain an effective team environment.
  • Ability to follow, perform, and maintain good performance in housekeeping and safety tasks as assigned by management.
  • Consistently demonstrate and maintain excellent service quality at all organizational levels.
