Job description

At Rainbow Centre, we believe every child deserves to thrive. We are looking for a compassionate and experiencedSenior Care Facilitatorto lead and inspire a team that provides meaningful care and learning to students in our out-of-school-hours student care service (OOSH), especially those with disabilities or additional needs.

Reporting to the Centre Head, you will be a key leader and mentor to our team of Care Facilitators, ensuring that every student receives the support they need.

  • Guide and empower a team of Care Facilitators in delivering high-quality inclusive programs tailored to the needs of students with disabilities

  • Plan, implement and evaluate differentiated activities that promote independence, positive behaviours and holistic development

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. therapists and caregivers) to design and implement appropriate approaches for the students

  • Shape the learning environment to be safe, nurturing and engaging in supporting the students' development to maximise learning

  • Create a supportive and communicative team culture that prioritizes student well-being and continuous improvement

  • Plan, support and provide feedback toward the professional development of team members

  • Contribute to organisation-wide projects that enhance the student care experience and operational excellence

Ideally you are someone who:

  • Has at least 6 years of experience working with children or youth with disabilities in a learning or care setting

  • Has experience in a student care (preferred)

  • Believes deeply in inclusive education and is driven by a desire to create opportunities for every child to succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum “N”/”O”/partial “A” Level or NITEC with a pass in English

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field would be an advantage
