Job summary

Woodlands Health is seeking a Cardiac Technologist to coordinate and participate in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment, providing detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions in the laboratory.

The role requires registration as a Cardiac Sonographer or equivalent credential, 2+ years hospital experience, and the ability to supervise and train staff in a tertiary cardiovascular laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or holding a BSc/ Diploma in cardiovascular or medical sonography.
• Registered cardiovascular technologist with CAAHEP or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cardiac Technologist in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and participate in the cardiovascular laboratory activities including echocardiography and Holter monitoring.
• Plan and schedule work ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate resources.
• Maintain quality control and documentation, equipment maintenance, and staff training.

Education

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

Bachelor of Science degree in cardiovascular or medical sonography

Polytechnic Diploma in cardiovascular or medical sonography
