A leading civil engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee design development and analysis for various projects. The role involves collaboration with construction teams and requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, particularly with LTA projects, and be proficient in design software.
Roles & responsibilities:
1. Coordination with Construction team/ Design Consultant/PE/construction subcontractor, etc. for Detail Design Development.
2. Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
3. Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions.
4. Planning relevant temporary civil structure, plan & section required for the Traffic diversion, such as Drain diversion, Retaining wall, shop drawing development.
5. Review and planning for ERSS system for Underground structure using Diaphragm wall such as KP, Decking, Strutting, decking, etc.
6. Check/Rectification of all the structural drawing/ shop drawing if required.
Requirements and relevant experience are as below:
1. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering or close discipline from a recognized Institution.
2. Strong engineering fundamental and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design works is an advantage.
3. Good knowledge of the application of design and drafting software.
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering especially for LTA Project.
5. Be well-aware of Traffic Diversion, Temp. Drain Diversion, and authority approval procedure.
6. Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works.
7. Be well-aware of Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design specification/standards.
* Candidates who has experience as CS engineer (Design) in D&B contractor side would be an advantage.
