Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a software developer for its Training & Simulation Systems to design, build, and maintain robust C#.NET backend services. You will work across database design, gRPC API services, and AI-powered features in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer.
• Experience in full-stack development.
• Knowledge in technologies such as C#.NET and SQL database.
• Ability to adapt quickly to tackle challenges using problem-solving approach.
• Understanding in Git/Azure DevOps for team collaboration.
• Has a strong interpersonal skill and able to simplify technical concerns for easy understanding between team members.
• Basic understanding or exposure to AI/Generative AI concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reusable and robust code using C#.NET for backend services.
• Design and implement database schemas, write complex queries, and optimize SQL database performance.
• Develop and consume gRPC API services and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Write unit and integration test to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the team by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate AI services into applications where applicable.
