Responsibilities:

• To work on the dynamics of Material Resource Planning (MRP) impact to purchases and planned purchase actions on a weekly basis.

• To source and procure materials in the most cost effective and time efficient manner to meet organization needs.

• Ensure compliance with the company standards on purchasing policies and procedures.

• Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet organization on-time delivery requirements.

• Participate in material review and ensure material issues are elevated and resolved in a timely manner.

• Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and take initiative to enhance the material planning process.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in materials procurement and vendor management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• General understanding of metal commodity price trends will be an advantage.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
