Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage direct materials and utilities, coordinating with Production and Sales to align supply with demand while optimising cost, inventory, risk and commercial controls.

The role emphasizes strong negotiation skills, ERP proficiency (SAP B1/SAP S/4HANA), and governance across contracts and supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of procurement and planning experience in chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Strong ERP proficiency in SAP B1 and SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience in direct materials procurement and invoice verification.
• Exposure to S&OP and production planning interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing of raw materials and services to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to optimise cost, quality, delivery reliability and HSSE performance.
• Manage PR/PO lifecycle in SAP B1 / S/4HANA, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Partner with Production and Sales to align raw material availabilities with agreed production volumes and demand plans.
• Prepare forecast for budgeting and rolling forecasts purposes and support month-end closing.
