Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Managing supplier relationships, resolving issues, and monitoring supplier performance - On Time Delivery & Quality Metric.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Order Placement: Placing orders with approved suppliers based on requisitions and expediting critical materials.
  • Vendor Analysis: Developing reports for vendor performance, purchase volumes, and on-time delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that procurements adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Planning -
  • Demand Planning: Developing and implementing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. Collaborate with Planning & Customer Support team to understand demand fluctuations and adjust planning accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock to meet production needs.
  • Coordination: Coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Data Management: Maintaining material, supplier, and planning system data in MRP/ERP systems.
  • Reportings and KPIs Developing reports on inventory levels, stockouts, and other planning-related metrics (OTD, Push Outs & Pull Ins)
Education
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
  • Between 5-10 Year(s) or above relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experienced in ERP system (Navision, SAP etc.).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team,
  • Experience in purchasing technical commodity like machining items/sheet metal parts will be an added advantage.
