Job summary

China Mobile International Limited is seeking a regional business analyst to support multiple units across the region, advancing internal processes for major projects and ensuring timely milestones are met. You will conduct data analysis, forecasting and dashboard maintenance, while overseeing billing, revenue recognition and payment collection.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, bilingual Chinese/English communication, and familiarity with BI tools.

Job description

• Responsible for supporting various business units within the region in advancing internal processes for key projects. Assist in completing crucial stages such as business opportunity initiation, project review, quotation and bidding, contract approval, delivery and acceptance, revenue recognition, and payment collection.
• Track the progress and key milestones of major projects. Collaborate with headquarters, regional teams, overseas units, and departments including product, finance, legal, supply chain, and delivery to coordinate and resolve issues during project execution.
• Responsible for regional business data analysis, business forecasting, and business dashboard maintenance. Regularly produce daily/weekly/monthly business analysis reports, and track revenue targets, budget execution, business opportunities, and the progress of key projects.
• Focus on project billing and collection analysis. Track the status of contracts, delivery, acceptance, invoicing, revenue recognition, and payment collection to identify billing risks and revenue gaps, and drive the closed-loop resolution of related issues.
• Conduct specialized market research focusing on key countries, industries, and business directions. Analyze customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market opportunities, assist in refining business models, and provide support for specific business development and management decision-making.
• Proactively apply AI and digital tools to enhance the efficiency of project tracking, business analysis, data processing, market research, and document drafting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Financial Management, Information Management, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• Understanding of B2B project operation processes; candidates with experience in project operations, commercial support, sales operations, or business analysis are preferred.
• Strong data analysis and logical thinking skills; capable of independently conducting business analysis, business forecasting, and project billing/revenue tracking.
• Excellent cross-departmental communication, coordination, and project-driving abilities; able to advance the implementation of complex initiatives in a multi-team, multi-country, or regional collaborative environment.
• Possess a solid degree of market insight and business analysis capabilities; closely follow development trends in telecommunications, ICT, cloud computing, data centers, AI, and the digital economy.
• Excellent bilingual communication (Chinese and English) and document writing skills. Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in the telecommunications operator, ICT, cloud services, data center, or system integration industries.
• Experience in key project bidding, contract processes, project billing and collection, or cross-departmental project operations.
• Familiarity with overseas markets, particularly the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Southeast Asian market environments.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Power BI, FineBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.
• Experience in applying AI tools or in analyzing and refining business models.
