Senior Business Development Specialist (MNC/Automotive)
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research including trends, competitor strategies, regulatory changes, etc.
- Assist in feasibility study (commercial & technical viability) and business case development for new mobility solutions across the region.
- Support in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders to drive new initiatives (incl. translating business requirements into technical solutions, etc.).
- Monitor/evaluate performance of initiatives against KPI with timely reports to management.
- Develop data-driven insights on customer behavior/vehicle usage patterns from connected cars.
- Collect, clean and analyze mobility-related data to identify new business opportunities. Leverage predictive analytics/machine learning to optimize mobility services.
- Monitor and assess emerging mobility technologies (autonomous, smart city, etc.) and identify potential opportunities (investment/partnership) in ecosystem development.
Requirements
- Degree with 4 to 6 years of business development or project management experience.
- Experience in managing IT projects or mobility services will be an advantage.
- Experience in data analysis tools (Python, SQL, etc.) and human-centric design will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, market research, and business strategy.
- Knowledge of mobility trends including CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric).
- Good business acumen, strong analytical skills, and communication ability.
- Ability to travel overseas & willing to work overtime when required.
- Working knowledge of IoT/Connected Devices, Server/Data Storage, Mobile App/API will be preferred.
- Experience in development & execution of smart solutions (payment gateway, etc.), IT Technologies, Mobility Services, IoT, and value chains (financing, insurance, etc.) will be preferred.
