Senior Business Development Manager – Meetings & Events (Asia-Pacific)

Singapore | Full-Time | Regional Scope

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth in the meetings and events industry? A leading organization in the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead its expansion in corporate events, conferences, and meetings across Singapore and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the meetings and events (M&E) business across APAC.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, starting in Singapore and expanding regionally.
  • Build and lead a specialized sales team focused on local M&E services.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in hospitality or event sales, preferably within the APAC region.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the M&E industry and regional business practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across APAC.
