Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development across Southeast Asia and Australia by identifying and securing new freight forwarding opportunities.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure customer retention, with focus on cross-selling and upselling.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for both Samsung and non-Samsung clients.
  • Lead the Business Development team, ensuring achievement of revenue and profit targets on a monthly and semi-annual basis.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to secure competitive rates and space, maximizing profitability.
  • Stay updated on Air and Ocean freight market trends, pricing, and space availability.
  • Report sales team performance to senior management through regular weekly, monthly, and semi-annual reviews.
  • Promote in-house digital logistics solutions (Cello Square) through various marketing strategies.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 15+ years in global freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership / new business development (hunting) role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of Air, Ocean, Land Transport, and Contract Logistics.
  • Strong regional network in SEA and Australia within logistics and transport sectors.
  • Hands-on, proactive leader with a strong drive for results.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, integrity, and accountability.
