    The Strategy and Business Development (SBD) team is responsible for ideating and developing the highest potential organic and inorganic growth opportunities. As a trusted advisor to the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing opportunities to achieve the vision on portfolio expansion and growth. Reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy and Business Development, you will join the Industrial BU as a member of the SBD team.With a broad product portfolio, global manufacturing footprint, and strong OEM customer relationships across key regions, TE is a market leader. As the SBD Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to maximize TE's growth and market share in priority and Focus Applications (AFG Application Focus Growth).Your role will require deep market knowledge, application expertise, strong strategy skill-set, and well-honed execution capabilities to drive above-market growth in priority areas. Working closely with product management and sales leaders in the business unit, you will contribute to creating a positive impact and accelerating your career into roles of increasing responsibility in strategy, sales, product management, or general management.The incumbent for this position should possess strong experience in one or more of the following Focused Applications: Motion Control & Drives, Industrial Robotics & Warehouse Automation, Semiconductors Manufacturing Equipment, Automation Controls (PLCs, DCS, HMI), and Battery Energy Storage Systems.Responsibilities:- Develop TEs strategy for the Focus Application, combining market and customer insights with knowledge of TEs product strengths.- Enhance application knowledge of TEs sales, product management, and engineering team members through Voice of Customer initiatives and market research.- Co-own the customer strategy and revenue/new opportunity pipeline within the focus application.- Maximize opportunity pipeline conversion by participating in pipeline reviews and supporting sales and product management team members with customer presentations.- Generate ideas for enhancing TEs value proposition through Product Portfolio expansion.- Plan and execute external and internal ideation/innovation workshops to enhance application-specific product roadmaps.- Partner with the marketing communications team to position TE as a leader and trusted advisor to customers.- Generate market knowledge and insights to develop actionable growth and market share expansion plans.- Be the champion for the focus application and deliver growth plans covering both strategic and tactical horizons.- Ensure application plans are aligned with regional commercial plans and TEs strategic objectives.Candidate Desired Profile:Key Objectives / Measurements:- Strategic projects to win in the focus application.- Commercial pipeline and conversion.- Long-term revenue growth above the market growth rate.Ideal candidate profile:- Minimum 10+ years of experience in strategy, industry marketing, or product management role.- Bachelors degree in business, science, or Engineering.- Demonstrated success in key marketing processes.- Strong teamwork and leadership skills.- Substantial project management experience.- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Willingness to travel up to 20%.This full-time, permanent position offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, flexible schedule, food, health insurance, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, life insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, provident fund, and work from home option.
