Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare internal reports & documents, such as Sales Plans, Tender Evaluation, and Risk Evaluations. Training will be provided.
- Maintain and upkeep BD documents and archives, such as Project list, Company presentations, and Marketing materials.
- Business Proposals - Pre-Qualification, quotations, and Tenders: Gather information and supporting documents from various departments, input and manage submissions (hard copies or via e-platform such as Ariba, Gebiz).
- Send out customer satisfaction survey forms to clients and Project Managers, and tabulate reports bi-annually.
- Proactively source new business opportunities through contacts and referrals, follow up on project leads and pipeline.
- Maintain good relationships and contacts with clients and consultants.
- Identify and research potential clients’ company and financial background.
- Gather market intelligence such as project and competitors’ information, and carry out activities based on the company’s business strategy and plans.
- Assist in developing new business strategies and plans.
- Understand the construction industry and keep abreast of market activities.
- Coordinate between clients and internal stakeholders, arrange for meetings, attend site visits, and tender interviews.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Business Administration, or Sales, in the Engineering or Construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills, including relationship building, strategic thinking, and being customer-oriented.
- Proactive, self-motivated, passionate, with a positive working attitude.
- M&E technical knowledge is not a must, but is a plus point.
- Existing relationships with key industry players are a plus point.
