Job summary

Scan Global Logistics Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Finance Controller to lead financial management across multiple locations. You will partner with regional management on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, driving profitability and liquidity improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar controller position within a larger international company, with strong expertise in P&L and balance sheet dynamics, BI tools, and business partnering.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in Finance and Accounting / CA Chartered Accountant / or similar
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position in a larger international company
• Proven working experience as a Controller or like with combined accounting, finance and leadership experience
• Thorough knowledge with business controlling with best-in-class processes
• Preferably knowledge within the freight forwarding business
• Experience in working with AS400 and/or D365FO is an advantage
• Experience in working with BI / PowerBI is an advantage
• Experienced user of Excel
• Experienced user of AI

Key Responsibility

Undertake and manage all aspects of regional operational financial management, including business controlling, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal performance management

Demonstrate thorough business and customer understanding

Delivering value added reports and analyses that support the implementation of the business strategy and goals in order to increase valuable information for decision support.

Bridge finance and operations, making timely controlling and reporting

Train country-based finance functions to further develop capabilities in controlling and business partnering

Primary Tasks
