Job summary

Campbell Brown Associates seeks an experienced Financial Controller to own all controls and reporting across the APAC region for an international consulting firm. This highly visible role leads the regional finance team and ensures compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.

You will oversee all accounting matters, prepare statutory accounts, manage audits, strengthen the control environment, and partner with SLT, tax, legal, and HR.

Qualifications

• Must be ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience with complex, international businesses.
• Preferably overseen controls from a regional perspective.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all elements of finance and reporting across APAC.
• Lead, guide, and develop a team spread across the region.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Deliver the annual statutory accounts for group (in IFRS) and manage a successful audit.
• Manage subsidiary reporting, developing process/quality improvements to the reporting packs.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture in respect of the control environment and governance across the region.
• Act as trusted partner to SLT across the region.
• Collaborate with tax, legal and HR teams and external advisors to ensure financial compliance.

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own all controls and reporting across the APAC region of a fast paced and thriving, international consulting firm.

This is a highly visible role and a key lead for the region, taking ownership of all accounting, controllership and compliance.

We’re looking for a strong leader, someone with strong balance sheet ownership experience and a keen interest in developing a high performing team, processes and controls.

Financial Controller – The Role:

• Oversee all elements of finance and reporting across APAC
• Lead, guide, and develop a team spread across the region
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
• Deliver the annual statutory accounts for group (in IFRS) and a successful audit
• Manage subsidiary reporting, developing process/quality improvements to the reporting packs.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture in respect of the control environment and disseminate best practice across the region. Ensure group corporate governance requirements are met
• Act as a truster partner to SLT across the region
• Collaborate with relevant tax, legal and HR teams and external advisors to ensure financial compliance
• Must be qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent
• Must have experience working for complex, international businesses
• Preferably experienced in overseeing controls from a regional perspective
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent leader, mentor and communicator
• Salary $140- 180k annually depending on experience
