Senior Business Analyst - SAP (Patient Ops & Health Fin)

Position Overview

Develop and implement Healthcare Business application solution.

Execute the project plan and ensure smooth roll-out of systems within time and budget constraints, and to achieve user satisfaction.

Maintain good stakeholder relationships including users and vendor project members.

Support professional delivery of projects and high-quality IT services by providing good technical support to stakeholders and users.

Support junior project team members.

Assist in executing policies and plans to ensure compliance to the Healthcare and Technology standards.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Support the implementation of one or more Healthcare Application projects.
2. Develop good project management skills to achieve project objectives.
3. Develop sound understanding of business requirements and how effective information makes a difference in analysis and decision making.
4. Identify data and business gap within organization’s information systems and perform analysis from the systems.
5. Prepare Users Requirement and Technical specifications/documentations.
6. Provide sound advice to users on the usage of healthcare domain business systems.
7. Participate in evaluation of vendor or package/product/data solution and recommend effective and cost-saving solutions.
8. Assist to review and evaluate on vendors’ design and solutions.
9. Support positive project vendor relationships and resolve technical issues.
10. Help to conduct investigations of complaints and provide resolution actions.
11. Keep up-to-date and track technology in the area of expertise and provide/review recommendations.
12. Supervise junior project team members.
13. Provide project progress reports on work tasks assigned.
14. Perform testing where required and perform data/requirement resolution and patching.
15. Review and rationalize requirements (e.g., to avoid duplicate solutions for the requirements, or standardize it among the different institutions).
16. Review and monitor daily jobs to ensure timely delivery of data.

Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. At least 8-10 years of relevant IT project experiences with implementation involvement in at least 1-2 project cycles.
3. At least 7 years of project management experience with hands-on experience in project implementation and vendor management in medium-scale to large-scale projects.
4. At least 1 year experience in healthcare industry, preferably with broad understanding of healthcare business processes like patient administration, patient accounting, and bed management processes.
5. Knowledge on SAP ISH (Industry Solution for Hospitals) or SAP FI/MM/HR (Financial / Material Management / Human Resource).
6. SAP IMG System configuration and customization.
7. Programming skills in SAP ABAP/4 programming, ABAP Query, ALV reporting, SAPScripts and SmartForms, preferred.
8. Knowledge on Web development and design, .NET and JavaScript.
9. Knowledge on HL7 standards, Biztalk, Webservices is preferred.
