A leading company in automotive services is seeking a proactive Senior Building & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building maintenance and project coordination, ensuring timely completion of renovation projects while managing external contractors and in-house teams effectively.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Building & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, renovations, and operational efficiency of multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, project coordination, and vendor management, with experience handling renovation and reinstatement works.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage facility operations, property maintenance, and infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
Provide strategic oversight on office and building renovations.
Manage office and building renovations, ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
Oversee reinstatement works, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and supervise external contractors, service providers, and in-house teams to maintain operational efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to enhance building functionality.
Monitor security operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and managing security personnel.
Handle budget planning, procurement, and cost control for maintenance and renovation projects.
Ensure compliance with building codes, workplace safety regulations, and emergency preparedness.
Prepare inspections, reports, and recommendations for continuous facility improvements.
Manage ad-hoc projects and other assigned duties related to facilities and operations.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, renovations, or reinstatement projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments & external partners.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach to building management.
Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiations for facility-related works.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is an advantage.
