Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. The Senior Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, contributing to the smooth operation of our accounting department. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.

Reconcile bank statements.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable).

Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum10 years of relevant experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing and trading environment.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., SFRS).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience in a manufacturing and trading industry is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

CPA or ACCA qualification.

Experience with inventory management systems.

Knowledge of Singapore tax regulations.
