Job description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a US Senior Bookkeeper - Quick Books Specialist at FinloTax. As the Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and handling journal entries using accounting software. Your role will involve working closely with clients to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.You should have a minimum of 7 years of related QuickBooks experience, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, bookkeeping best practices, and financial reporting. Experience working with tax preparers is a must, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor leading a team of at least 4 members. Additionally, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience and excel in the use of QuickBooks Online, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms. A friendly demeanor, encouragement of others, and strong attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.Your responsibilities will include reviewing bookkeepers" work for accuracy and compliance, supporting bookkeeping staff, managing workload and capacity, overseeing client setup and accounts cleanup, and preparing financial packets for tax preparers. You will also be responsible for sales tax reporting, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and client-specific services. Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are required. Certification in QuickBooks or relevant software is a plus.Overall, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency and priority, and a solid understanding of finance principles.
